I like how dark my hands get in the summer. I like how my teeth look white.

I get they did it for money, the middle 1900s lobbyists who pushed not only chemical medicine and sugar over fat resulting in the inverted food pyramid resulting in the hellish quagmire of health insurance, chronic illness, and the first ever decline of health expectancy in the modern world. But it seems like everything evil is done for money. Maybe its the money that is evil?

My phone is hot. I can feel it hot in my pocket. I can tell when its in the room. It radiates.
(Also I have been having to put my phone in the slots of the AC in my car while driving or it deactivates due to temperature)

I don’t understand why to even vote. What is the point. There aren’t even options.

There was no water in the river today. Or yesterday. Or the day before that. How many days of no water in the river before it stops being a river?

Joe Haldeman must’ve gotten back from Vietnam and saw all the hippies and wrote a whole novel called Forever War where the true war was his stifled sexuality in a world that would accept him if only he would accept himself. But the badge of self denial is the shiniest on his personal lapel.

Watched a youtube video titled “I was $750K in debt heres how I ended up in a wilderness cabin” and I get it is a story about his mistakes but his story infuriated me. He had a mortgage for a two story home supported two other people at the age of 20 for $150/month. He worked at golf course ball pickup and odd jobs and could afford to move at the age on 29 with his 3rd kid on the way despite not having car insurance or whatever the hell sob story he was spitting. And during his “struggle” periods he was still able to hunt and fish and go on trips and take days away from home. I browsed the comments looking for a young person like me (I’m fucking almost 30, no kids, no wife, no house) and only saw ‘thanks for being an inspiration’ comments. I was looking for the ‘dude you were able to afford a big ass house in Canada for less than $200/month ($1200 in todays money) mortgage and managed to fumble it so bad to end up in $750K debt?’

That little Japanese kid who discovered that caterpillars have memories between their bug and winged stage is blowing the minds of the scientific community. Are they stupid? Can you not tell by observation of every living creature ever that some memory/knowledge is genetic? You just made up a dehumanized word “instinct” to describe the behavior animals that you wouldn’t dane to profile as intelligence or inherited memory.
