That’s right it is me. I am visiting in town and this sucker was logged into his word press. So I’m testing out these fancy new keyboards the fellas have been raving about. Initially I am liking it, however I think the key depth is a little too deep for me. Makes its a little hard to rapid fire these bitches.

I lowered the keyboard height itself and it seems to have helped some. At work I type on what might as well be touch screen key boards so this is a nice change. The backspace and space bar are exquisite. I bet the gaming experience on these would be ideal. Unless my fat fingies catch on the high keys still.

Anyway I’m visiting my dear friend here. So far I’ve thrown up in an airport, boarded the wrong plane, and accidently napped through one of his appointments. But the burger for dinner was good and we spent the night in an absolute gamer dungeon. One of those retro arcades with a full bar and some snack, I’ve seen a few of these places popping up. This one was cool because for $5 you get unlimited plays on all the machines. And as a non drinker that’s a pretty cheap night. You just have to get over the fact that the joysticks are all sticky and the games are actually kind of ass. I don’t care what the geriatrics say, pinball was never fun. All those old games are only impressive because they got it to run on something less complicated than a toaster oven. Otherwise the gameplay sucks and they’re designed to get you to drop quarters every four seconds.

In the future when Fortnite is looked on as such a relic of old I wonder what the new kids will say. Something about micro transactions and the battle pass system yatta yatta. I get it. But by god its the best game we’ve got. Unless this new Zelda rocks hard like I think it will.

I am actually kind of hurt by the Hogwarts game. I got the Xbox one version and it runs worse than a PS2 game. Claymation graphics would be fine, but the load times are insufferable. I cannot walk down the school hallway without encountering at least three doors that need a 30 second to 60 second load wheel. I was so looking forward to playing it. One day I’ll do the PC build I’ve been wanting to do for years now, but until then I’m gonna rock my old-gen consoles.

My typing is improving on this thing. And the tack tack tack sounds are incredible. Great purchase Hokx. Thanks for having me over.
