I have had a few months of deep frustration in regards to my passwords. I understand that it is my own fault for failing to properly organize my passwords and I can accept that. What I cannot accept is the failure of the password remembering services. Be it the google one or the apple thing, they. fail. me.

They’re wrong every time! I can’t remember which checkmark I clicked to allow password remembrance! If I was on my computer and now I go to access on my phone, all is lost. And vice versa. To add to it I’m not sure it works between apple and the safari browser itself on my phone.

I just end up changing my password every time I log in because its an ever revolving door of bullshit anyway. Used strong password on my phone for some new account? Now trying to log in from my laptop I open my phone, go through however many apps and screens to see the password, type in my fucking PIN to see the PASSWORDS, type it in to the NEW LOGIN AREA with all its stupid fucking capitol this, number that, dashes, and characters.

And I will not make comment here or now on two factor authorization. I fully understand the idea behind it. What an incredible security tool. But as a user, I just can’t stand it. Looking at my laptop screen instructing me to pull out my phone for a code embroils within me the same passive hatred that I can only imagine a drone strike pilots feels for their commanding officer whos just confirmed the order to bomb some hospital somewhere, like his finger wasn’t on the trigger already.
